About Katoh Yoshio
Independent Curator/Art Critic
President of Contemporary Art Planning KATOH YOSHIO Office
After engaging in graphic design works and managing a contemporary art gallery as a director, Katoh Yoshio became an independent curator and an art critic, then accomplished remarkable achievements in Japanese art field up to the present date.
In charge of writing critical articles on art exhibitions to the Asahi Shinbun Company Osaka Head Office. A member of the International Association of Art Critics Japanese Section(AICA), the Japanese Association for Cultural Policy Research(JACPR) and the Japanese Association for Arts Management(JAAM). He also serves as a part-time lecturer at the present to Musashino Art University, Tokyo; Osaka Seikei University, Osaka; Kinki University, Osaka; and Kyoto Seika University, Kyoto.
